Gholam-Hossein Farokh, born on September 19, 1987, operates under the alias 'Amir Maghfareti'. He is the head of Dadeh Afzar Arman (DAA), a front company for the Cyber-Electronic Command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC-CEC), also known as Jangal. The company's true nature was exposed by an employee who discovered its connection to the IRGC. DAA is one of several front companies connected to Shahid Hemmat, a component of IRGC-CEC that targets the U.S. defense industry and international transportation sectors. These organizations are linked to other IRGC-CEC associated individuals including Mohammad Bagher Shirinkar, Mahdi Lashgarian, Alireza Shafie Nasab, and other front companies such as Emennet Pasargad and Mehrsam Andisheh Saz Nik (MASN). Under Farokh's leadership, DAA employs Iranian hackers, many of whom were initially unaware of their true employers, to conduct cyber operations on behalf of the IRGC.
