Seyyed Mohammad Hosein Musa Kazemi is a hacker and employee of Emennet Pasargad, an Iranian cyber company that provides cyber capabilities and support to Iran's Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS), as well as to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the IRGC-Qods Force, both U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations. From at least September through November 2020, Kazemi participated in an Iranian state-sponsored, multi-phased online operation targeting the 2020 U.S. presidential election. His specific roles included compromising servers used to send threatening voter emails, preparing emails for the voter threat campaign, and compromising the email accounts of an American media company. The U.S. government is offering a reward of up to $10 million for information leading to Kazemi's identification or location, or information preventing or resolving acts of foreign election interference.
